OUR STORY
The name Matthew means "Gift from God," and Matthew 5:4 represents the day we lost our brother, a moment that anchors us in the promise: "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted."
The Five Four Foundation was created from this belief: that in times of need and mourning, a simple gift of kindness can provide comfort and make a lasting difference
The Five Four Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to spreading love, kindness, and resources throughout our local community--especially to children and young adults experiencing grief, homelessness, food insecurity, or foster care.

Some of our favorite moments haven't come from organized events. They've come from seeing a need and deciding to do something about it. Five Four encourages anyone to make a difference -- whether that means collecting supplies, shopping for families, organizing a fundraiser, filling food bags or simply finding a new way to help someone who needs it.
